Okay, so let’s be honest: I’m a science geek. And astronomy is pretty high on that list.

But how anyone could fail to be amazed at Google Chrome’s ‘100,000 stars’ experiment is beyond me. I mean, just look:

If you’ve got Chrome, just click on the link above and you can explore the stars in the Milky Way in the same way you might with Google Maps: just zoom in, zoom out, grab and move. It’s amazing what the internet can do: now you can browse our galaxy!
